Timber Wax - 2 oz

Application Instructions

1. Prepare the Surface: Ensure your wooden item (cutting board, butcher block, utensils, or furniture) is thoroughly clean and completely dry. 

2. Apply the Wax: Use a lint-free cloth, a paper towel, or even your fingers to scoop out a small amount of wax. Rub it onto the wood in a circular motion, following the grain. A little goes a long way; aim for a thin, even coat over the entire surface and edges.

1.              Grain Works Pro Tip: If the wax is too hard to spread, you can gently warm the container in a bowl of warm water or let it sit in a warm room to make it more pliable. 

3. Let it Soak in: Allow the wax to sit for at least 1 hour, though letting it set overnight is recommended for deep penetration. You will notice the appearance change from shiny to dull as the oils are absorbed. 

4. Buff the Surface: Using a clean, dry soft cloth, buff away any excess wax until the surface feels smooth and has a soft, satiny sheen. 

5.     Note: Your Grain Works purchase will already have an initial base application, sealing and waterproofing your product.
